About RecessReset

TM

Class transitions can make or break a lesson.

Having an engaging, effective and fun transition routine goes a long way.

That's why as former educators we decided to build Recess Reset, to create positive and consistent routines to help students and teachers begin class with ease and joy.

Recess Reset is a classroom management tool & mindfulness-based self-regulation curriculum for pre-K and elementary school. Sequential bite-sized animated video lessons teach students life skills such as mindful breathing, body scans and gratitude to promote nervous system regulation and self-awareness, reduce stress, and build community.

This daily curriculum of short 3 minute lessons is designed to be implemented routinely after class transitions like recess, seamlessly integrating life skills development into the school day while simultaneously solving a daily stressor for teachers: class transitions. The bite-size design helps educators teach SEL in a way that doesn't conflict with math or reading, while tangibly building skills that improve student behavior.

Zero lesson prep + calm & focused students = happy teachers

RecessReset was developed with the support of the Stanford Accelerator for Learning

and the Stanford Graduate School of Education
